Langley Street Dance
Mid-July each year
The Langley Street Dance 2021 has been cancelled.
See you next year!
Imagine a cool summer evening under the open skies with talented local bands providing tunes ranging from classic rock to R&B, funk to reggae, and everything in between.
2019’s lineup featured the Nathaniel Talbot Trio–Keegan Harshman, Andrew Dorsett, and Nathaniel Talbot–with headliner Western Heroes: Michael Licastro, David Licastro, Lorraine Newland, David Malony, and Larry Newbauer. Everyone enjoyed dance-oriented rock, blues, folk, R&B, funk, honky tonk, and reggae–both original and covers that got everyone out of their seats and dancing in 2nd Street Plaza.
Each year, the Langley Street Dance provides a venue to get together with friends and family, old and young, to get your groove on. As the 2nd Street Plaza is taken over by the beat, the surrounding businesses like The Commons and The Braeburn stay open late offering quick bites and sizzling nibbles.
Brought to you by the Langley Main Street Association, sponsors include Whidbey Weekly.
