Sea Float Scramble

RETIRED EVENT that took place in January each year for 10 years
Crowds hunted for one-of-a-kind glass-blown sea floats hidden in plain sight along Seawall Park in Langley! Everyone, young and old, joined in the scramble for free, and if they were lucky, went home with their own glass treasure!
A second Sea Float Scramble location for youngsters five years old and under, as well as those with disabilities who need easier access, was held at Langley Park at 2nd and Anthes Avenues.
The event was held in January each year. Everyone came early to catch up with neighbors and friends and stayed after for a tasty lunch with family or a bit of shopping. The Sea Float Scramble had well over 1,500 in attendance its last year and fell victim to its own success. The event simply outgrew its venue and was retired.
Brought to you by Langley Main Street. Hand-blown floats created by Callahan’s Firehouse. Sponsors include the City of Langley and Whidbey Weekly.
